Making it Happen

Zvikomborero Sandra Mutokwe, known professionally as VISION, is a Zimbabwean-born, Adelaide Artist. Growing up as a vocalist, starting at the age of eight, VISION explored her vocal range and trained vigorously, going on to perform strictly Jazz pieces, she felt restricted and continued to discover her musical interests.

Coming from a household of vocalists and musicians, VISION was inspired to discover her artistry, and though Australian, she is influenced and inspired by the melodies of Bronx drill, intertwining her own style within her music.

VISION’s diverse musical interests have facilitated her ability to produce music across genres. Ranging from punk and drill to hip-hop and R&B, VISION enjoys testing her abilities and implementing new styles.

Making it Happen

It all begins with an idea. - Earl Nightingale

VISION ambitiously experiments with trap, punk and drill beats, melodic flows, and unforgettable hooks, and has continued to work towards advancement.

VISION’s prolific output of music resulted in an expansion in her distinctive style, personality, aura and charm, and her innovative rhymes, double entendre, and wordplay utilising a range of delivery techniques from energetic and pugnacious to indolent and exocentric.

A captivating and diverse artistic evolution since 2020 has been that of VISION. Her output as a solo artist has joyously swayed from purposefully distasteful and unrefined to alluring and enlightening, regularly blurring the lines between reality and her own world; using her music as a medium of self-expression and energy release. Regularly drawing inspiration from experience, VISION incorporates and expresses her emotions, beliefs, values and hopes.

VISION is currently producing more projects, after the release of two EP’s and the completion of two albums, two more EP’s and 20 singles.

She successfully delivers music outside her comfort zone and tests her bounds, demonstrating her musical knowledge and interest in continuous evolution.

VISION aims to accomplish more in the global music industry and achieve recognition as an Afro-Australian Artist.
